If your dog is nervous or anxious, don't worry! It is completely understandable that some dogs need a little extra time to feel comfortable.

Meet-and-greet appointments are available where yourself and your dog can visit the salon, meet myself and become familiar with the environment before their grooming session.

These sessions usually last up to 20 minutes

Bark and Brush is an exclusive one-to-one grooming salon, meaning your dog is the only dog in the salon at any one time.

Appointments are never rushed allowing a calm, stress-free environment to be created and tailored to your dog’s individual needs.

Clear communication and honesty are essential. We’ll always discuss your dog’s coat condition, grooming requirements and any recommendations with you to ensure the best possible outcome while prioritising your dog’s comfort, welfare and wellbeing.

This personalised approach helps build trust with both dogs and their owners, creating a positive grooming experience every time.

It is strongly recommended to introduce puppies to grooming from around 12–16 weeks of age, once they have received their full course of vaccinations and are ready to explore safely.

A puppy’s first appointment is usually a gentle introduction to the grooming environment and may include a bath, brush, nail trim, ear cleaning, and getting used to the sounds and handling involved in grooming.

Starting grooming early helps your puppy build confidence and creates positive associations with the grooming process, making future appointments much easier and less stressful. Regular grooming from a young age also helps maintain a healthy coat and allows us to monitor your puppy’s overall wellbeing.
